Buffalo Bayou, the historic waterway which wends its way through the middle of Houston, has played a major role in the city’s growth and commercial prosperity. Now, after a multi-million dollar effort, Buffalo Bayou will take on a new purpose by becoming a thriving park and recreation area. The Gillman Subaru dealerships in Houston were honored to contribute to this much needed city amenity by sponsoring the official opening activities for the new Buffalo Bayou Park.
The Grand Opening took place Saturday, October 3. It was the culmination of a private and city undertaking that has resulted in an exceptional recreation facility. Future generations will be well served by the efforts of all those who assisted in making Buffalo Bayou Park a reality.
