Share The Love this December

Are you looking to purchase or lease a new Subaru? Do you enjoy giving back to local organizations? If so, Gillman Subaru has you covered! Now through January 3, 2017, for every new Subaru that is purchased or leased from our dealership, we'll donate $250 in your name to a hometown charity! Over the course of the last nine years, Subaru and its participating retailers have given nearly $90 million during the Share the Love event! This year we're sponsoring donations for two Houston-based organizations that are always looking for extra assistance.

 

Buffalo Bayou Partnership


 

The Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) was founded in 1986 to help protect and preserve Buffalo Bayou, which is Houston's most significant natural resource. The BBP has dedicated themselves to caring for the 10-mile stretch of land which extends from Shepherd Drive to the Port of Houston Turning Basin. This organization uses its funding for special projects, development of the land, protecting the land for future parks, bike and hike trails, and for clean-up and maintenance programs. Greyhound Pets of America-Houston


 

Greyhound Pets of America is a national non-profit that has dedicated itself to finding kind, loving owners for its pets, all of which are retired racing greyhounds. The Houston chapter, which operates out of Best Friends Pet Care, are constantly on the lookout for potential adoptive pup parents! There are never a shortage of greyhounds looking for homes, or ways you can help out. The GPA-Houston is always looking for new homes, donations, and volunteers, who are the heart of their organization! If you’re looking to meet them in person, drop by one of their many upcoming events:

You can also choose to donate to one of four national charities. The ASPCA, Make-A-Wish, Meals on Wheel America, or the National Park Foundation are always looking for dedicated volunteers and donations!
