  • The approach (20.0 degrees, up from 18.6), departure (23.6 degrees, up from 21.7), and breakover angles (21.2 degrees, up from 19.4) are all improved
  • Low gearing is better (4.44:1 vs 4.11:1)
  • The all-wheel drive system is re-tuned
  • The undercarriage is better protected
  • Yokohama Geolandar all-terrain tires are standard
  • A heavy-duty roof rack that can handle 150 lb when the vehicle is in motion, or 700 lb at a standstill, is standard
